Hanukkah Extravaganza

Ah, the Hanukkah party was SO much fun! Meg, Chris, Alex, Rachel, Kayla, Jon, Jade, Lida, Mando, Al, Felix and I somehow all fit into our apartment and had some yummy Jewish food, lots of He'Brew beer, and wine (although the Manischewitz was not a hit- someone described it as "watered-down grape jelly with booze in it"). We were all loosened up by the time we played dreidel, so the rules went out the window. Here was the invitation:

Lida was complaining that the other pic of her on my blog was ugly, so here is a really good one of her. It captures her personality perfectly- beautiful yet cynical.

Mando helped me make latkes, and I think she got pretty tingly!! She is from Kentucky, and she is one of those southern belles who always keeps their composure (to separate themselves from all the drunken, toothless southerners).

Christmas Is All About Class...

Ah, Al's dad. A humble man. A quiet man. A man who loves boobies. Well, not humble or quiet, but the boobies thing is totally true. He got this for Christmas from Al's brother Andy, along with another shirt that said, "I'm not a gynocologist, but I'll give it a try." Then, after dinner, we all reminisced about the times we did acid as teenagers. But, we are weird in a good way. We all love each other, and Christmas was fun.
